Libera un tiempo precioso&nbsp;\u2014\u00a135 horas a la semana!\u2014 que permite a las ni\u00f1as ir a la escuela y a las mujeres realizar trabajos generadores de ingresos para mejorar las finanzas familiares.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 15px;\">Ha ocurrido, adem\u00e1s, un efecto inesperado: Wello ha conseguido una popularidad sin precedentes entre los hombres que ven la rueda de agua como un utensilio de trabajo. Ir a recoger agua ya no es un trabajo peyorativo, sino que requiere el uso de una herramienta. Seg\u00fan Cynthia Koenig, fundadora de Wello y emprendedora social de Nueva York,&nbsp;<em>\u00ab<\/em>a los hombres les encanta usarla, por lo que las mujeres se pueden dedicar a hacer otras cosas. O se reparten la labor y \u00e9l la utiliza cuatro d\u00edas a la semana y ella dos. Esto ha reducido significativamente la carga de las mujeres\u00bb. Cada d\u00eda se pasan 200 millones de horas recogiendo agua en el mundo, siendo las mujeres las que invierten un 25% de su d\u00eda haci\u00e9ndolo de una manera, adem\u00e1s, perjudicial para la salud.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 15px;\">Por tanto, el producto cubre una necesidad mejor que las alternativas existentes, pues permite transportar 50 litros de una vez, entre tres y cinco veces m\u00e1s que con los m\u00e9todos tradicionales. Se hace de forma higi\u00e9nica, con un tap\u00f3n dise\u00f1ado para que el agua no se vuelva a contaminar a la hora de usarla. En este momento, Wellowater tiene un precio de entre 20 y 30 d\u00f3lares, con producci\u00f3n local en India. Es, todav\u00eda, un coste elevado para la base de la pir\u00e1mide, pero que desde mi punto de vista se podr\u00e1 abaratar al llegar a cierta escala.
